Potholes

Queen’s Park

The condition of the roads around Queen’s Park and throughout the BCP area has deteriorated markedly in recent years without action by your Conservative Councillors. Potholes seem to be everywhere and aren’t being fixed quickly enough. The roads are becoming dangerous and car repairs due to pothole damage are costly.

Your Labour candidates Sharon Carr-Brown and Christopher Talman understand that people need to use their cars and the roads need to be safe to use them on. Potholes need to be filled quickly and properly. They’ve noticed that even when repairs are done, they often fail soon afterwards and, as your local Councillors, would be asking “what’s going wrong?”

If elected, they would seek a review of the pothole service the Council offers to try to understand why this has become such a pressing problem and to ensure local residents get a quality, timely service and value for money.
