Why I’m standing to be your Councillor

“I’m standing to represent the people of Moordown because our community is being underrepresented, and our views don’t count.

The council needs to be more transparent and engage better with residents, so that we can all make Moordown an even better place.

I want to play my part in this, so that we can all be confident our town will be a greener, safer place where people can live happily, receiving good services.”

Experiences I will bring to the role

“I’m a retired teacher living in Ensbury Park, close to Moordown, with my family and our Ukrainian friend.

I volunteer locally in the Parish of Winton, Moordown, and Charminster with children and families; with International Care Network; with refugee families; and with PramaCare, befriending over the phone and leading a choir.

I’m a passionate amateur musician with local choirs and orchestras.”
